Doula care; Birth prep, hypno-birthing and postpartum support.
Preparing for a new addition to your family can be an exciting yet daunting time. Stockholm Nanny works with qualified doulas who are able to help support you before, during and after birth, so you are never alone. This time period is a specialised type of support which requires an educated and well-experienced nanny/doula that focuses specifically on postpartum and newborn care. We recommend you plan this service several months in advance of your expected birth.
Childcare
After the newborn stage, we would recommend specialised support for children with an experienced nanny. The role of a nanny includes playtime, educational activities, meals, hygiene maintenance, emotional support and overall childhood development. More specifically, nannies can help with logistical support for the family as well as cognitive and motor developmental support. If your child has additional needs, we also take this into consideration when matching you with the best possible nanny for your family.
Educational support
Educational support can cover a wide variety of topics; from academic education, life skills, support in developmental delays or even critical thinking practice. There are different schools of education method as well as different levels depending on your child’s current level. We take into consideration your request as well as the age and needs of the children in question to best match you with a nanny who has more specialised experience in your requested areas.
